I was just in L.A. a week ago for a little weekend getaway with friends. Of course I had to plan a few culinary stops. We had breakfast at Huckleberry Cafe TWICE because we loved it so much. I finally made it to Joan’s On Third which was a great experience. Their food is delicious and they do a great job with their logo products. And the pastry selection is ridiculous, as you can see we went with the carrot cake. That was a good decision. The highlight for me was dinner at Bar Ama. It’s a small restaurant downtown with a great lively atmosphere. The Tex-Mex tasted homemade and packed full of flavor. If you go you MUST get the chorizo puffy tacos. I’m still dreaming about them. Oh and of course the tequila cocktails were a hit as well.
