I recently chopped my hair off. It’s the shortest it’s been probably since I was six years old and I’m slowly getting used to it. Yes it feels weird and it’s a little scary short (it’s only been a week so I’m hoping that feeling goes away) but the most interesting part of it is I want to dress completely different. Almost immediately the look I was going for changed. I thought I would want to dress more feminine to avoid looking like a boy, but it’s actually been the opposite. I now gravitate towards the simple pieces in my wardrobe, and have gone back to black despite the summery sunshine. All I want is that Parisian simplicity.
